MAINTENANCE TECH/HANDYMAN

We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician/Handyman to join our team and undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of our premises.

A Maintenance technician/Handyman is an attentive professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and responsibly.

The Maintenance Technician/Handyman role is to maintain the building and ensure the facility is always safe and functional.

Assist with the general upkeep/cleaning of the building.

Applying Preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems.

Performing routine maintenance/cleaning around the building.

Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped.

Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.

Working on minor plumbing.

Assisting with the building HVAC equipment to keep climate control in the facility functioning property, including filter changes.

Working on minor electrical, examples replacing an existing light fixture

· Replacing a light fixture with a ceiling fan

· Replacing an existing outlet

· Replacing an existing light switch

· Replacing an existing switch with a dimmer

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician/ and or Handyman. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and method, working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.

· Good physical condition and strength with willingness to work overtime.

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot.

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
